Teaching

Lee is currently Assistant Professor and Head of Visual Arts at Montclair State University. Through her interdisciplinary teaching, Lee helps students connect their concerns with the artwork they make, revealing the potential that creative response offers in the face of urgent conditions. At the core lies a critical look at our built environment and ‘making’ as a way of engaging and reimagining the world around us.

She is a Mellon Foundation fellow and has presented at the College Art Association Conference in New York, and FATE: UNC Charlotte College of Art and Architecture. Prior to joining Montclair, she was Assistant Professor of Expanded Sculpture at Franklin & Marshall College in PA and Kenyon College in OH, and Director of the M.A. Preparation program in Beijing with the University of the Arts London.
